Deep expertise in a tiny package

Why me?
I am a lawyer with thirty years’ experience in tackling contracts.
I have been an Associate Lecturer for the University of Salford for decades, teaching professionals from across the globe about English contract law.
I’ve read hundreds of contracts, letters of intent, terms and conditions – all so that you don’t have to. I have worked for clients from one-woman practices to global law firms, from specialist subcontractors to trade associations.
I call myself a ‘recovering’ lawyer because my focus is on transforming the way your team does business. I don’t get stuck into granular legals for the sake of it.
Complex contracts and unclear processes are costing your organisation time, money, deals and relationships. And after all that, many contracts are just shoved in a drawer or filed in a digital folder – only grabbed when something goes wrong!
There is a better way.
I love simpler contracts – and started a revolution by drafting a series of UK construction contracts in just 500 words. But at the heart of what I do is a simple idea – simplification works. When you streamline deals and clarify terms you’ll save avoid conflict, sign deals quicker and be more efficient.

Media
I am active on social media: LinkedIn (sarahjvfox) and BlueSky (SarahFoxSpeaker).
You can listen to a host of podcasts where I’ve been a guest – the best way to find these is using my spotify playlist. If you want someone who is not scared to play devil’s advocate with the traditional way of doing law, then I am the right person for you!
I have written for a variety of publications including CICES (magazine for civil engineering surveyors), NBS, BIM+ by CIOB and Construction Manager with papers published by the Society of Construction Law and International Journal for Law in the Built Environment.
