The Dotted Line: Make it easy

After 26 editions on improving your contract content, you may be wondering what’s next. It’s not enough to have great content if you never get it agreed. There are so many stages of the contracting process that it is relatively common to sabotage your good intentions.

At the Global Speaker’s Conference in Dublin in October 2022, David Avrin said his audience of speakers needed to be ridiculously easy to do business with. He included in discussion of the front-end part of any business the size of your contract (and I couldn’t resist a heckle suggesting just 500 words). Every business needs to make it as simple as possible for prospects to convert into buyers, and fast.
